Biography
Chippy is a strategic healthcare leader with over 5 years of experience in managing a national pharmaceutical budget and driving market access outcomes across New Zealand’s public health system.
Chippy has knowledge across a range of therapeutic areas, including COVID-19 Therapies, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Immunisation, Medical Oncology, Respiratory, and Rheumatology. Her previous work includes leading New Zealand’s nation-wide change from the trastuzumab originator biologic (Herceptin) to a biosimilar and securing reimbursement for Trikafta in New Zealand. She has a proven track record in stakeholder management, strategic procurement, and commercial optimisation, equipping her to drive innovative healthcare initiatives and deliver results for clients.
Chippy holds a Bachelor of Science from Imperial College London, a Postgraduate Certificate from Victoria University Wellington and a Diploma from the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Her academic study has included clinical experience within the UK’s National Health Service and working as part of global virtual teams on international business consulting projects. She has presented her health research on improving mental health support services at the British Medical Journal Leaders in Healthcare Conference (poster presentation).
