Erica Doutty joined HTANALYSTS in June 2025 and is currently building out a centre of excellence for Patient Engagement. She brings over 20 years of experience in media, communications, product marketing and program management.
With over 20 years of experience in communications strategy and product marketing in the media sector, Erica is skilled at leveraging human-centred insights to inform programs of work that influence agenda and outcomes.
In addition to her career in the media, Erica spent three years at Blackmores Group collaborating closely with senior Allied Health Care Practitioners through the pandemic on content strategy where she gained a strong understanding of the role of education and thought leadership in progressing policy advocacy and innovation.
Erica is passionate about working alongside purpose-driven healthcare professionals and patients to co-create solutions that meet patient needs and optimise health outcomes.
Attuned to the patient perspective through her own lived experience, Erica excels at connecting with patients, building rapport, and drawing out meaningful stories that inform evidence and strategy. A natural facilitator, she is skilled at guiding conversations from insight to influence, ensuring that patient voices are not only heard, but drive meaningful change.  Her work spans market access, commercial insights, and enterprise level education across pharmaceutical, medtech and healthtech industries.
Erica’s approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a commitment to elevating lived experience as a core pillar of healthcare innovation. Erica meets patients where they are; ensuring their experiences, preferences, and values are accurately and impactfully represented in every project.
