Erica Doutty joined HTANALYSTS in June 2025 to establish and lead a centre of excellence in patient engagement in healthcare. She brings over 20 years of experience in media, communications, product marketing and program management.

Biography

Erica Doutty joined HTANALYSTS in June 2025 to establish and lead a centre of excellence in patient engagement in healthcare. She brings more than 20 years of experience in media, communications, product marketing and programme management.

Erica has extensive experience in communications strategy and product marketing within the media sector. She uses human-centred insights to design programmes that shape agendas and influence outcomes.

She also spent three years at Blackmores Group, working closely with senior Allied Health Care Practitioners during the pandemic. There, she led content strategy and gained a strong understanding of how education and thought leadership can support policy advocacy and innovation.

Erica is passionate about partnering with healthcare professionals and patients to co-create solutions that meet patient needs and optimise health outcomes.

Through her own lived experience, she brings a deep understanding of the patient perspective. She builds strong rapport, facilitates meaningful conversations and draws out stories that inform evidence and strategy. Her work spans market access, commercial insights and enterprise-level education across pharmaceutical, medtech and healthtech sectors.

Erica’s approach is grounded in empathy and authenticity. She ensures that patient voices are not only heard, but actively shape strategy, evidence generation and decision making.
