Megan is a Senior Consultant with HTANALYSTS, bringing expertise in programme evaluation, evidence generation and market access strategy across the life science and non-profit sectors.

Megan Allfrey joined HTANALYSTS as a Senior Consultant following six years’ experience in health consultant across the UK and international markets.

Her expertise in value and market access spans the full product lifecycle – from early pathway mapping and burden-of-illness analyses through to NICE submissions, payer engagement materials, and global medical affairs initiatives. She has supported clients across diverse healthcare systems and payer environments to build the clinical and economic evidence needed for reimbursement of novel therapies, including gene and cell therapies. She is developing expertise in Australian reimbursement pathways, including PBAC and MSAC.

Megan also holds expertise in monitoring and evaluation and evidence synthesis for life science and non-profit clients. She has designed Theory of Change and Social Return on Investment frameworks to evaluate public health interventions, and has led mixed-methods primary research and Delphi consensus studies to inform service design and policy. Her work spans both quantitative and qualitative methods, with a focus on producing evidence that is actionable for decision-makers.
