Santwona is an experienced Associate Director with expertise in reimbursement submissions, market access strategy and project management.

Santwona Baidya joined HTAnalysts in December 2011 as a Research Analyst. Since joining, Santwona has been promoted to Associate Director, HEOR. Santwona has expertise in market access and reimbursement strategies, with a thorough knowledge of Australian PBS policy. Santwona is an experienced project manager with a solid foundation in medical writing and critical appraisal.

During her time at HTAnalysts, she has managed several reimbursement submissions including co-dependent submissions to the PBAC and PHARMAC. Within these submissions, her involvement has ranged from project management to devising submission strategy, systematic reviews, budget impact models as well as assisting with economic modelling. Santwona has contributed to clinical guidelines and feasibility studies. She has also worked on several multi-country, late phase clinical studies, with contributions made to study design and protocol development, statistical analysis and interpretation of data, report writing, and numerous conference abstracts and scientific manuscripts. Santwona has worked on projects focused on multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, neurological disorders, osteoporosis, respiratory conditions and developmental disorders.

Santwona holds a Bachelor of Science with 1st Class Honours, a PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health, with the studies completed at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
