Biography
Daniël is currently an Engagement Manager at HTANALYSTS, specialising in reimbursement submissions and health economic modelling for pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and medical technologies. He has led submissions to PBAC, MSAC and PharmaC. These submissions have included high-impact therapies and diagnostic technologies across multiple therapeutic areas.
His experience includes managing reimbursement submissions and developing cost-effectiveness models. He also delivers impact and feasibility studies that support payer decision-making and market access strategy. In addition, Daniël has worked across oncology and haematology, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. He has also supported projects in endocrine and metabolic disorders, gastroenterology and hepatology, and women’s health.
Before joining HTANALYSTS, Daniël was a Senior Strategy Consultant at AlphaBeta Australia, which was later acquired by Accenture Strategy. During this time, he delivered economic evaluations, impact studies and market access strategies for Australian and international healthcare organisations. He also provided strategic and public policy advice to Commonwealth and State governments.
Daniël holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Monash University and Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Pharmacy from Utrecht University. As a result, he combines rigorous health economic analysis with strategic insight to support evidence-based decision-making.
