Scientifically trained experts focused on human-centric impact

HTANALYSTS is an Australian healthcare consultancy specialising in health economic and outcomes research, health technology assessment and reimbursement strategy. For over 20 years, we have delivered rigorous economic evaluation, evidence synthesis and impact assessment to support funding, policy and market access decisions across the healthcare ecosystem.

Our history

Founded as Health Technology Analysts in 2002, HTANALYSTS was established to deliver rigorous Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) services to the Australian healthcare sector. For more than two decades, we have grown into a trusted partner to government, industry, and not-for-profit organisations seeking robust, policy-relevant evidence to inform funding, reimbursement, and strategic decision-making.

While our foundations are in Australia, our perspective is global. We work routinely with multinational clients and collaborate across jurisdictions, providing us with deep insight into international evidence standards, emerging methodologies, global expectations, and evolving market trends. This exposure ensures that our work reflects not only local requirements, but also global best practice in evidence generation, value demonstration, and outcomes research.

In addition to our strong presence in Australia, we have an established footprint in New Zealand and have delivered advisory and training services across APAC. This regional and international experience strengthens our understanding of diverse health systems, policy environments, and reimbursement pathways, while maintaining deep expertise in Australian Health Technology Assessment processes.

In recent years, our scientific and analytical capability has expanded beyond mainstream healthcare to include social impact measurement, government programmes, aged care, and disability. Across all domains, our commitment to methodological rigour, transparency, and practical relevance remains constant. We integrate global evidence, real-world data, and contemporary research approaches to deliver insights that are credible, defensible, and meaningful across jurisdictions.
